This project was a true test of our mettle—reviving the historic old “Soda Shoppe” in Laconia and transforming it into a bright, modern restaurant space. What was once a dated and worn interior was taken down to its core with a full demolition, allowing us to rebuild the space from the ground up while respecting the character of the building. The project included installing new sub-slab utilities, a durable epoxy floor system designed for the demands of a busy restaurant, and the construction of a custom bar and serving counter that now serve as the centerpiece of the space.

Bringing this building back to life required careful planning, craftsmanship, and attention to detail at every stage of the project. Today, the revitalized space stands as a welcoming and vibrant addition to downtown Laconia. Taco Bay’s new location not only provides a fresh and exciting place for people to gather and enjoy great food, but also breathes new energy into a historic part of the community.
