Richard Bradway is the owner of Ironwood Craftsmen LLC, a veteran-owned contracting company based in Center Sandwich, New Hampshire. After retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2022 following more than two decades of active-duty service—including operations in Alaska, Central and South America, and disaster response missions across the United States—Rich brought the same discipline, leadership, and problem-solving mindset to the building trades.
Now rooted in the Lakes Region, Rich enjoys the lifestyle that drew him and many of his clients to New Hampshire in the first place. When he’s not on a jobsite, you can often find him hiking local trails, fishing the lakes and rivers of the region, or spending time on the water. A lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and the natural beauty of New Hampshire strongly influences his work, with a focus on building spaces that feel connected to their surroundings and are built to last for generations.
Drawing on a deep respect for craftsmanship and hands-on building, Rich founded Ironwood Craftsmen to deliver high-quality construction with an emphasis on precision, durability, and attention to detail. He serves clients throughout New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and White Mountains, specializing in custom homes, renovations, cabinetry, tile work, and full-service general contracting.
Rich believes that great construction is built on trust as much as skill. He takes pride in clear communication, thoughtful planning, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time. Whether building a custom home, renovating a kitchen, or completing detailed finish work, his goal is always the same: to do the job the right way and stand behind every project long after the work is finished.
